Five Simple Bookish Crafts
I love a good simple craft/hobby that doesn’t take my entire day but still scratches that itch to be creative! I have compiled 5 fairly simple crafts (that can be made bookish) for all the girlies with limited hours in the day!

Diamond/Gem Painting a Book Cover
I can sometimes get overwhelmed by the thought of diamond painting an ENTIRE book cover, so I just choose to do the title and some small elements! It keeps the craft lowkey and relaxing. Pair this with an audiobook and your favorite beverage and you have a nice afternoon ahead of you! (My kids did this one with me as well, and I just gave me youngest a glue stick to use instead and it still worked out great for her to stick the gems to her book cover!)
You can find the gem kit I ordered from Amazon Here
Scrapbook a Bookmark
If you love to journal and have all the scrapbook supplies already this is such an easy craft to put together! I used some scrapbook paper, washi tape, and stickers I purchased at hobby lobby to create these! I ended up using my Cricut (if you want to level this up!) and found the “HEY SILLY GOOSE YOU’RE ON THIS PAGE” overlay on Cricut Design, to cut out for my bookclub to use for this craft!

Scrapbook/Junk Journal
Speaking of scrapbooking… if you’re into junk journaling, or just journaling in general this is a great craft that you can easily do in an hour! I love to create random pages, but this can also be done to create a layout based off a recent book you’ve read, you can add quotes and find character art on Pinterest to print and add to the page!
Watercolor a Bookmark
Watercoloring is an easy craft to setup and clean up! You can buy pre-cut bookmarks or cut them from paper yourself to size! I would suggest using a thicker paper when doing water color so the paper doesn’t tear or muddy up from the paint! Then use a hole punch or cut a small hole, tie in a cute ribbon, and WALA, now you have a cutie new bookmark!

Polymer Clay Characters
We actually purchased this polymer clay at Five Below! I love Otters and found some inspo on Pinterest of some cute otters to create this clay version! We didn’t have any special tools so just used toothpicks for some of the finer details/lines!
You can find some of the supplies, and book recs on my LTKit Here!
